REMOTE MAINTENANCE  

Every Schmidt machine is equipped with a port for connecting a Netbiter. This enables us to contact your machine control system via a secure VPN tunnel and provide targeted help when required.

SECURE CONNECTION 

The Netbiter gateway offers a unique technology for secure access to the Siemens PLC of the drawing machine without compromising the  firewall in your factory and that without opening ports for incoming data traffic. The gateway communicates via Ethernet and dispenses with public, fixed IP addresses or VPN tunnels from other providers.

REMOTE ACCESS MODE 

 The remote access provides a secure tunnel connection between the Ethernet port and the Profinet of the Siemens PLC.

This means that the Siemens TIA Portal programming software can directly access the machine’s PLC to load programs, configure the machine or correct errors in the process, giving our technician the same access as when he is sitting next to your machine.
